Do you believe in magic?

Yesterday I deposited a check into my bank account through my iPhone!!!!!! How crazy is that?! I took a picture of the front and back of the check and the magic person in my phone read the check and put it in my bank account! Crazy!!!!!!! Way to go Chase!

Something I love....

...pets with people names. I don't know why but I find great joy in meeting an animal with a human name. I had a cat named Bernard, another one named Norman and we had a dog named Ben. ALL GREAT NAMES! I tried to get my mom to name our newest cat Kevin....what did her and my niece end up naming him? "Kitty"....not nearly as good as Kevin. I'm just saying.

4 days!

My fellowship in Iowa ends in 4 days! I can't believe how fast the time has gone it's crazy! I am really going to miss this job. I will admit that Ames is not the most exciting of places but there is something to be said for having fantastic people to work with. It makes all the difference.

Anyway I leave on Saturday to go back to Texas. I think this fellowship has been the beginning of good things for me. Hopefully I'm right.

A bit of good news

Well last week I got an email saying I have an interview with the Derry & Raphoe Diocesan Library Project....this is the place I've been to twice to work for free in Northern Ireland. This time I'm interviewing for a 1 year position that is paid! Imagine! Anyway, the interview is on the 16th so I will keep you posted.

Speciality Blogs

So my boss has a food blog called Midwestern Exposure, Annalise has a kick ass food blog And Now For Something Completely Delicious.....maybe I need a specialty blog of some sort. The questions is what could I blog about? I realize this would knock my total number of blogs up to 3, but still it would be nice to have a very focused blog. One where the main theme remains the same. The only thing I can come up with right not is to do a bookbinding blog, but I don't think I do enough of that to constitute a whole blog. Anyway, this is just something I've been thinking about....that and ice cream. Think I'll go get some of that......maybe I could write a blog devoted to tacos, that could even be the title.
