iMazing

I realize that every 4-6 months I go off about how amazing Apple is...but I gotta do it one more time. First of all I went to the Apple website to replace the shuffle charger that the airline managed to completely CRUSH on my flight here, but to my surprise I was greeted by the above image. So Apple is going to combine an iPod, a phone and the Internet into this amazing device called iPhone. I won't go into all of the kick-a features of this little miracle, but I will say that the HUGE screen is all touch activated...pretty sweet. This got me thinking about something else I saw over Christmas that made me love Apple even more.

I was walking through the mall and my sister and I see this really big vending machine filled with iPods and iPod accessories. That's right people, there was a GIANT iPod VENDING MACHINE IN THE MALL!!!!!! Those people at apple are always thinking! I wish I was one of them. Maybe they have some old computer manuals I can conserve for them.

Shouting From My Soap Box

Microsoft Logo
I never like to bring up boring technology based topics in this pop culture driven blog, however today I am at my wits end. My work computer is a PC an HP Media Center with a good graphics card (aka runs quick, works well with my design programs), runs quick, and haven’t had any problems with it other than the fact that it is not a Mac.

I recently downloaded the new version of MSN Messenger that has been renamed Windows Live Messenger. I'll admit it has some great new features, blah blah blah. BUT ever since I installed it my computer has been running slower and crashing twice....nay 1 million times more often. I never subscribed to the idea that Microsoft was the equivalent of the Walmart of technology based companies, raping the industry of its dignity and forcing it to bend over for an ass kicking, however I now feel differently. I think Microsoft is an evil genius plotting to take over everyone’s computers and systems until we are all bowing down in unison to the Mecca that is the 4 waving flags of "truth".

I know what many of you are thinking, Apple is doing it too....(I choose not to believe this). BUT at least Apple has the courtesy of camouflaging their agenda with sleek computer designs and awesome program interfaces that make me feel like a kid in a room of shiny objects. I don't really know where I'm going with this one, but I just had to put those opinions out there into the universe.

I am the luckiest girl alive!

In case you were not aware I have been in the market for a new computer. And my computer of choice of course is the Mac Powerbook 17 inch, which by the way is amazing. Well on Friday I went to CompUSA to apply for credit and purchast a new powerbook. LUCKILY!, I was approved and even more LUCKY...they were out of stock.

This of course is because today (4 days from the time I almost purchased a G4) the new Apple MacBook Pro was released, and it is 4 times faster than the computer I nearly purchased. Man am I a lucky duck or what?!

By the way, this picture was taken from a web site that sells all kinds of duck costumes, man I love google.

Anyway, this blog is not funny in any way shape or form, but I could not keep this news bottled up, so I had to share it with my public via my blog.

Peace, Love, and MacBook Pros to all.
